FAQ
1. Q. Does the solar hot water system really work in our northeast climate?
A. While the winter months of December and January have limited sunlight and only yield a solar contribution of 25-30% of your hot water needs, April-October solar contributions can climb as high as 90%. Over the course of a year, that translates to a reduction in your hot water production expenses of 65-70%.
2. Q. How long do these systems typically last?
A. Solar hot water - 30+ yrs
Solar pool heaters - 15 yrs
Solar electric - 20-25 yrs
Geothermal - 20 yrs
High Efficiency Boilers - 30+ yrs
3. Q. Are there incentives still available for these systems?

Solar pool heaters - 15 yrs No Incentives
